On March 3, 2026 in an election likely to be challenged, the people of Brattleboro approved a resolution to eliminate RTM. BCS feels it is gross to propose to the young people of Brattleboro the RTM as a learner’s permit for electoral democracy and then to cancel it for the RTM showing too much democratic initiative. We may challenge the resolution on technical grounds.
