The Brattleboro Floodplains Project will support residents who live in Brattleboro’s floodplains
to get answers and accountability at every level of government,
and to come together in solidarity and mutual aid.

    Organizing

    Our group has been given some money to support meetings and forums that are organized and led by residents, where local, state and federal governments account for and commit to what they will do for you when a crisis event occurs, what evacuation and emergency housing plans are, what current projects are active to prevent heavy damage, and anything else residents want to know or get from them.
    All meetings and forums, for now, will be in video calls that you can also phone into.
